We appreciate the help and work done by volunteers. We welcome volunteers visiting the Centre. The visit can be for a couple of days or couple of weeks/ongoing basis. Depending on the time of the year, various tasks are given to the helping hands. From assisting with food preparation, feeding, cleaning the facilities and helping getting new projects completed as well as maintenance. The knowledge of the volunteer will be assessed to ensure that the best for the wildlife in our care is achieved. Accommodation is available at a small charge (Depending on arrangements made). -0-0-0-0- Main Rehabilitator, Rose Naude, encourage the sharing of knowledge and would like to see all volunteers learning more about the care of wildlife and what it entails to keep a centre like this operating.

Left: Volunteer, Luc Schnepel out
from England, went with Craig to remove wire snares from the bush. It
was un educational experience to see the method and great numbers of snares
out in the local indigenous bush. Feeding porcupine "Punk" was part of
his tasks - below
Left: Darren did his schools work experience project at Crag's View and apart from helping with the daily food preparation, he also expressed his creativity with painting patterns on one of the target games which was put together for the fundraising event. He was a great help and Ina was glad to have had him for the week as lots needed to be prepared and achieved. |
